Rosario Hurtado has been teaching across years in the BA Design program since 1999. She is a founding member of El Ultimo Grito, which she runs in collaboration with Roberto Feo. El Ultimo Grito define design as 'what we do in order to understand what is design' and in trying so they have embarked in many different adventures. Their work is part of permanent collections such as MoMA (Museum of Modern Art) and the MAD (Museum of Art and Design) both in New York, Stedlijk Museum in Amsterdam and the V&A in London. In 2012 they were awarded the London Design Medal, which is awarded to individuals for their contribution to design and London.
In 2010 they founded Shopwork, an outlet for works that question, explore, research and advance ideas on design. Together with Stuart Bannocks and Mike Patrick, they have been 'open for dialogues' every Saturday since.
