Thirty Five

8am-3.30pm, Mon-Fri

Thirty Five offers a range of fresh sandwiches, homemade baguettes & salads and Piglets Pantry hot savoury range. It also serves Costa Coffee along with our Paul Rhodes artisan bakery items. Thirty-Five is located in the Richard Hoggart Building.

You have access to a number of extra features through our Time2Eat app:

  • Table Service – place your order on your phone, and have it brought to any table in the refectory or Thirty Five
  • Click and Collect – beat the queues by ordering ahead of time and picking your order up from the collection point in Thirty Five
  • Delivery Service – place your order through the app, and have it delivered to the reception of the Professor Stuart Hall (PSH), Whitehead, or Lockwood buildings

The Refectory

Food court style dining offering our new 'Hola Pollo' Peruvian chicken concept, house favourites such as jacket potatoes, Proper Cornish pasty & savoury range, made in house salad boxes alongside our wonderfully good value for money sandwich and wrap meal deals catering for vegetarian, vegan and halal requirements.

Hola Polla is inspired by the flavours of Peru and offers you a choice of chicken and vegetarian options served with fries, salad, or as a wrap. All our chicken is Halal. A reduced seating area is available for eating in with social distancing guidelines in place.

Peak Street Café

Please note the Refectory is currently not serving food or drink but remains open as social study space.

The café offers a tasty and nutritious range of vegan and vegetarian dishes, sandwiches, and a selection of indulgent cakes and snacks served with Fairtrade Coffee. The café is located on the ground floor of the Professor Stuart Hall (PSH) building.

Library Café

1-5pm, Mon-Fri

Perfect for grabbing coffee and snacks for your study sessions we have salads, pastries, sandwiches, baguettes and toasties as well as snacks and confectionery available all day. The Library Cafe is located on the ground floor of the Rutherford Building (library).

Students' Union Cafe

Food is served Monday to Friday 9am - 4pm. The space is open until 10pm, with pool table and coffee machine. Outside of term time may vary. The Students' Union Cafe is open to all and offers a wide range of hot paninis, toasties, sandwiches, snacks, cakes and a local London coffee. We have vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal and kosher options. We're located on the first floor of the Students' Union Building.

Students' Union Bar

We're open Monday - Friday from 2pm until late. Situated on the top floor of the Students' Union Building, the SU Bar provides a wide variety of spirits, wines and beers at some of the cheapest prices in town. Whether it's a pint of Punk or a pink gin - we've got what you're looking for. We host regular entertainment - from club nights to quizzes, and the space is available for private hire.
