The Erasmus+ exchange programme allows students currently studying at a European university (with which we have an Erasmus+ exchange agreement) to spend a semester with us.
Erasmus+ exchanges are based around academic subject area agreements. Erasmus+ students do not pay any fees and may receive an Erasmus+ grant from their home university.
Students attending universities with which Goldsmiths has an existing exchange agreement in place with can visit us on an Erasmus+ study exchange. Please check our current partner institutions and agreements. If your university wishes to set up an agreement with Goldsmiths they should write to the relevant academic department directly - contact details can be provided on request. Unfortunately, we don't accept requests for new partnerships from students themselves.
Students should check with the International or Erasmus+ Office at their home university about applying. Nomination deadlines are May 1st for Autumn term and Full Year students and October 15th for Spring term students. Application deadlines are 15th May for Autumn term and Full Year students and November 1st for Spring term students. Check our term dates for further details.
Our English Language requirement is higher grades at CEFR Level B2, or IELTS 6.0 for Undergraduates and IELTS 6.5 for Postgraduates. We can accept alternatives to IELTS, but do not accept TOEFL. More detail will be provided when you apply. Lists of available modules you could take in each department will also be provided when you apply, and you should note that Goldsmiths uses CATS credits instead of ECTS. One CATS credits equals 0.5 ECTS credit.
