FaithXChange is primarily about its members. But we do have a few key coordinators.
Panagiotis Pentaris, Lead Coordinator
Panagiotis is researching the area of religious literacy and/or illteracy among health care professionals who deliver services in thanatological settings (e.g.hospices). His project is based on the assumptions of secularisation and the secular society. Notis' background is in Social Work (LSW & QSW), Social Policy, and Psychotherapy. He specialised in Thanatology (the science of death), which remains his basic and from a broader scope his area of academic and field interest. He is also certified in Medical Psychology and Grant Writing/Proposals. He is involved in social reserach, academic writing and professional presentations in Europe and in the USA.
Timothy Stacey, Lead Coordinator
Tim's research explores the theoretical and practical grounds for the common good in an age of religious and ideological diversity. His methods straddle theology and social science, seeking ways to make deep theory empirically explorable.Alongside his research at the Faiths and Civil Society Unit, Tim is also a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Religion and Political Science at King's College London.
Clare Canning, Midlands Coordinator
Clare is currently undertaking a three year doctoral project with joint supervision by the University of Leicester and English Heritage, titled 'Religious Heritage in Transition: Sikh Places of Worship in England'.
