BMus students: £3000 per year for three years MMus students: 25% fee reductionEligibility criteria
BMus (Hons) Music and MMus Performance & Related Studies applicants who meet the predicted academic requirements and are invited for an interview. You must meet (or be predicted to meet) the required level of musical performance in an acoustic instrument (string, wind, brass, percussion, keyboard, or voice).
Scholarships will be awarded following successful enrolment. Continued receipt of the award is based on successful progression into years 2 and 3 of the degree, continued musical progression on an acoustic instrument, and significant contribution to the musical life of the department.
Application deadlines
All BMus Music and MMus Performance & Related studies applicants who meet the criteria above and who are invited to interview are automatically considered for the scholarship – no additional application is required.

Selection process
Successful candidates will demonstrate excellence, or potential for excellence, in a musical performance during their interview. Awards will be made by the Department of Music Scholarships Awards panel and will be based primarily on the assessment of musical ability.
