Goldsmiths Music Studios

Designed to optimise acoustic and electronic sound reproduction; the Goldsmiths Music Studios opened in 2013, thanks to sponsors, and to the largest capital investment by Goldsmiths since 2011.

Consisting of three large recording spaces with natural light and variable acoustics, the main control room is based around a 48 channel vintage Calrec console and supports both analogue and digital recording.

It also features a 2” 24 track Otari tape machine as well as a large collection of new and vintage microphones, amplifiers, outboard and synthesisers.
