Sarah Johnson created the social enterprise [re]design after she graduated from Goldsmiths to support and promote sustainable design.
Alongside her Design partnership WEmake, Sarah has developed [re]design as a leading organisation that holds innovative, engaging accessible events for public, design trade and business audiences. [re]design has partnerships with the Barbican, 100% Design, London Design Festival, NESTA and the Sorrell Foundation. She works to educate not only the public and designers on sustainable design but also manufacturers.
[re]design has been invited to conduct workshops in China and Korea to raise awareness of climate change and encourage individual action to reduce the impact of climate change.
