Rohit is a doctoral researcher at the Department of Marketing at the University of Birmingham. His research focuses on the experiences generated by interactive installations in public spaces and how theories and principles of conceptual art contribute to consumer research. Before this, he spent over seven years working as a writer and researcher in advertising in Delhi, London, and SE Asia, building integrated strategies for brands such as Coca Cola, KFC, and Mars, among others. His work in the industry also informs his teaching and his research interests in (post)modern art and design in marketing.
Rohit holds an MSc from King’s College London and a Bachelor’s degree in journalism from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, and has also assisted and taught at the University of Birmingham and Queen Mary, University of London.
