Printing Terms and Conditions

Important

Please read these terms carefully before using the online payment facility to purchase print, copying and scanning credits. Using the online payment facility on this website indicates that you accept these terms, if you do not accept these terms please do not continue to use this facility.

Paying for print credits

You are required to purchase print, copying and scanning credits by debit or credit card via a secure payment facility where you will need to enter your card payment details.  All payments must be received in pounds sterling.

The minimum amount to top-up your print account is £1 per transaction.  Please manage your account accordingly and refer to Section 3 Refunds.

If the payment is successful, you will receive a payment confirmation email from Goldsmiths and your print account balance will be credited with the value of your payment.

The payment confirmation email will be sent to the email address input when entering your payment and card details.

If the card supplier declines payment you will be given the opportunity to edit the card details. You should check with your bank/credit/debit card supplier that payment has been deducted from your account.

Goldsmiths cannot accept liability if payment is refused or declined by the credit/debit card supplier for any reason.

Neither will Goldsmiths accept liability for the payment not being credited to your print account due to incorrect details supplied by you.

Refunds

Email servicedesk (@gold.ac.uk) to request a refund of your unspent print credits left in your print account. Credits are not transferable to other services or users. 

Please manage your account accordingly, and do not top up your account by more credit than you can use before you leave Goldsmiths. Please note, refunds will only be paid when you leave Goldsmiths.

Information you provide

The information you provide when registering to purchase online print credit will only be used to process the payment and to communicate with you regarding your purchase.

Goldsmiths will only use the information collected about you under the terms of the Data Protection Act 2018.  See our Privacy Notice for Students.

Personal data will only be used for the purposes of fulfilling your payment.  This information will be held on a database by WPM Education (e-commerce system provided www.wpmeducation.com) on behalf of Goldsmiths.  Debit/credit card details are collected and verified with the card provider via the WPM system but are not stored.  By purchasing online print credit, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal details by us.

Modification of terms

Goldsmiths reserves the right to change these conditions from time to time. Changes will not affect payments which we have already acknowledged.
