Sanda Lwin's teaching and research interests include law and literature, American Literature, Asian American literature and culture, critical race theory, and comparative Black and Asian studies. She is completing a book called The Constitution of Asian America, to be published by Duke University Press, that analyzes the legal and cultural formation of Asian America through literary and legal narratives of citizenship, immigration, and exclusion. She is also at work on another manuscript, entitled Legal Fictions: Race and Law in American Culture.
