Living with Make: Art in the Archive, 2013

The Women’s Art Library/Make and Feminist Review £1000 research bursary

Call for proposals for written research projects based in the Women’s Art Library/Make at Goldsmiths, University of London.  This call is open to all, including students.

This year the bursary is presented in association with the Whitechapel Gallery.

Deadline for proposals:    1 Oct 2013

Bursary period:               Jan-Mar 2014

Christine Risley Prize 2013

With great pleasure we announce that this year's Christine Risley Prize has been awarded to Hefin Jones for 'The Welsh Space Campaign' which featured in this year's Goldsmiths BA Design degree show. The work will be exhibited in the Constance Howard Gallery in the autumn. See

A bursary of £1,000 is awarded jointly, bi-annually, by the Women's Art Library/Make and Feminist Review to support research in the Women's Art Library collection and archive.

Christine Risley Purchase Prize

A prize for outstanding art textile work by a graduating artist is made annually by Goldsmiths Textile Collection and Constance Howard Gallery, funded by the generous bequest of Christine Risley and many valued donors.
