Naz has over twenty years experience working in the film and television industries.
She is also an alumna of the Sundance Screenwriter’s lab and Creative England’s coveted i-features scheme and a number of BBC residencies.
Naz continues to be in development with some of the UK’s top production companies and currently has a number of projects in development, including true crime drama ORKNEY MURDER (nominated for the Brit List) commissioned to pilot by BBC Scotland. RELEASING LUCY commissioned to pilot by BBC One Drama and THE LIGHTHOUSE, an adaptation of the Fran Doricott suspense novel.
Naz is a member of the Writers Guild of America, Bafta Connect and represented by Casarotto Ramsay Casarotto Ramsay
Teaching and supervision
Naz is a senior lecturer and convenor of MA Script Writing.
Modules convened are Long Form, Reflection Essay, Short Form and Adaptation.
