How much is the Fee Waiver?

The Fee Waivers are partial, so you will need another source of funds to pay the rest of your fee. If you will not be able to enrol without a total Fee Waiver, please look at different sources of funding instead.

The value and number of Fee Waiver varies depending on the budget set by the Department each April.

The primary criteria is evidence of previous achievement in creative work. We are also looking for evidence of commitment to the subject you wish to study. We do not assess financial need.

What do our previous Fee Waiver students say?

“The Fee Waiver has given me the extra support I needed when moving to London. Alongside my academic bursary, it has significantly reduced my course fees, and given me more financial space to afford travel, rent and food costs. I'm very grateful to Goldsmiths for the award, and it's great to know there's a real effort from the university to get people from ordinary backgrounds onto postgraduate courses.”
