Summary

Bonamy is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology, with diverse research and applied experience. To academic and non-academic audiences, she champions the need to assimilate diverse scientific approaches to understanding the family’s role in children’s mental health and wellbeing. She has innovated and developed broad-reach methodologies, including an assessment that is being considered for National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidelines. She collaborates on large-scale studies as well as leading the Twins Family and Behaviour study (TFaB), an in depth study of twin families. Her current work focusses on broadening family intervention reach for improving children's mental health.
