Goldsmiths aims to ensure a high-quality learning experience through a commitment to excellence and innovation in learning and teaching; an up-to-date and stimulating learning environment; and a reflective and well-designed curriculum, which supports the aspirations of students, the needs of society, and the enhancement of teaching quality.

The College's Quality Office manages and oversees policies and procedures to assure the standards of its awards and the quality of learning opportunities and to support the enhancement of learning and teaching.

The Quality Office is responsible for ensuring that the College's quality assurance policies and procedures are robust and effective in maintaining and monitoring the standards of its academic awards and in supporting the enhancement of the student learning experience.

The Office manages key quality assurance processes, including programme design and approval; annual programme review and closure; student feedback systems; the external examining system; and periodic internal and external reviews and audits.

The Office works closely with academic and administrative departments across the College, particularly the Collaborative Provision team, the College's programmes offered through the University of London Worldwide, the Teaching and Learning Innovation Centre (TaLIC), and Students' Union.

We provide information and guidance on quality assurance at Goldsmiths, primarily through the policies and procedures available on these web pages. It also offers information, training and advice to staff and students on the different processes.
