GREAT Scholarships 2023 (Indonesia, Mexico, Pakistan and Turkey)

In partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, Goldsmiths, University of London is offering 4 scholarships to students in Indonesia, Mexico, Pakistan and Turkey applying for postgraduate-taught courses at Goldsmiths, University of London.

The GREAT Scholarships 2023 programme, launched by the British Council together with 49 UK universities, supports postgraduate students from Bangladesh, China, Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Thailand, Turkey and Vietnam to access world-class UK higher education opportunities.

The scholarship programme offers financial support of a minimum of £10,000 to students pursuing one-year postgraduate study in the UK.

The awards are worth £10,000 each as a fee waiver

Number available

There will be one award for each student from the four countries listed in the eligibility criteria below.

Eligibility criteria

Applicants can apply for this opportunity once an offer of a place to study at Goldsmiths is accepted. Awards will be based on a combination of academic merit and the information given on the application form.

Students must have accepted their offer for one of the September 2023 entry-taught postgraduate courses at Goldsmiths, University of London.

Please note that applicants must be passport holders of the Republic of Indonesia, the United Mexican States, the Republic of Turkey, and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, respectively.

The scholarships will be awarded per country:

  • One award for a student from Indonesia
  • One award for a student from Mexico
  • One award for a student from Pakistan
  • One award for a student from Turkey

Selection process

Successful candidates will be selected on a competitive basis.

It is planned that successful candidates will be contacted via email before the end of June 2023.
