What's Next? is a week of events dedicated to providing you with information, advice and guidance if you are considering applying to university. We want to help you make an informed and balanced decision about your next steps.

We are hosting a series of short online videos and live Q&As, giving you the freedom to select the sessions best suited to your needs and interests.

Please view all of the key information and session schedule below and book onto a session.

For Teachers and Advisers, we also have a series of lunchtime sessions, typically consisting of a 15-minute introductory talk, followed by a chance for questions and discussion. You can find out more information and book your sessions on our website.

Headline Speaker

Headline speaker Jamala Osman

The highlight of the week will be a headline talk from Jamala Osman.

Jamala is a 26 year-old award winning motivational speaker and former bank manager at Barclays plc. She was one of the youngest bank managers in the country and was tasked with running her first branch at the age of 21.

Jamala is a captivating speaker who uses spoken word to tell her stoutly. She opened for Eric Thomas last year and is well known for her TEDx London talk ‘From the block to the Bank’ Jamala speaks about her dramatic turnaround from a challenging start in life that led her to create pathways and programmes for other struggling individuals to help break down barriers. Jamala also runs a consultancy that helps organisations think differently about talent.
