Goldsmiths works closely with local schools to support the aspirations of young people in Secondary Education, offering access to our world-leading academic and creative institution.
Key Stage 3 (Year 7-9)
Our taster days give students in Years 7-9 a sense of what university is like and how they can progress into higher education. Each day typically include an introduction to university session- where we explore the main differences between school and university, student accommodation and societies. In addition the students will take part in a creative workshop, take part in campus tours, and be given the chance to talk to some of our current students.
I learnt that university is fun and helps you to be much more independent
Key Stage 4 (Year 10-11)
Taster Days for students in Years 10 and 11 offer a chance to get a sense of university life and start students thinking about their options, both post-16 and beyond. These can be general sessions, or can be tailored around individual subject areas
We would be delighted to attend any relevant events hosted by schools and colleges, such as careers fairs, options days, progression events, and parents' evenings.
