Goldsmiths works closely with local schools to support the aspirations of young people in Secondary Education, offering access to our world-leading academic and creative institution.
Higher Education Discovery Days
Starting to think about university can be a daunting process, and for many young people higher education can remain relatively unknown until Year 13, when they have to make decisions which will shape their future.
Our Higher Education Discovery Days for school years 7-10 will consist of a tour of our campus led by a student ambassador who will be able to answer any questions attendees might have about student life and the transition between school and university. Attendees will also partake in a number of workshops which we hope will help them to gain a better understanding of what it means to be a university student, academically, socially and financially.
Our holiday clubs in Art and Design and Writing and Talking offer an opportunity to explore your creativity.
Year 8 and 9 holiday clubs (Easter)
For students in years 8 and 9, Goldsmiths is holding two holiday clubs during the Easter break: one in Art and Design, and another in Writing and Talking.
Year 10 holiday clubs (Summer)
The holiday clubs for students in year 10 are designed to compliment students' progress towards their GCSEs.
The Art and Design club will focus on a central theme and allow students to create works they can use in their GCSE portfolios.
The Writing and Talking holiday club will assist students in developing their creative writing and analytical skills as well as their confidence in speaking and presenting their work and ideas.
