We look forward to welcoming everybody who has been successful in gaining a place, to Goldsmiths, University of London this summer.

Attending one of our free summer schools will give you a valuable taste of the subject you’d like of study and an insight into life as an undergraduate student. They offer an inclusive, empowering and experimental space for you to develop your creativity and confidence and aim to give you the time and space to determine if university is the right ‘next step’ for you.

Who are the Summer Schools for?

Summer schools are free and open to 16-18 year olds currently studying in the UK.

These Summer Schools are funded through our widening access initiatives at Goldsmiths and such we strongly encourage applications from students who would be the first in their family to go to university, who are care experienced, estranged students and students with a disability.

We encourage students who live outside of London to apply. Students who live in London are also welcome to apply for a residential place as well as a day place. Unfortunately we can’t accept students who live or study outside the UK.

What subjects are available?

We offer two types of summer schools depending on what subject students are interested in - the Goldsmiths Summer Schools and Creative Summer Schools.
