Every session will improve your understanding of what is it like to study a creative subject at Higher Education level, and has been designed for students considering undergraduate study at university.

Goldsmiths is a university known around the world for innovation in teaching creative subjects and its strong links with the creative industries.

Creative Studio: key information

Dates: Monday 28 June – Thursday 1 July 2021

Times: Each session will last approximately 45 minutes. Sessions will be between 4.30 – 7.15pm (BST)

Location: All sessions will be hosted on Zoom

Cost: Free

Attendees: Our sessions are open to all students in Year 12 or first year of college, who are thinking about studying at university at undergraduate level. Students are asked to book individually.


Our Studio Sessions bring together a range of engaging academics and students from Goldsmiths' departments, providing you with the opportunity to hear ideas, experiences and research on a range of creative topics. Each Studio Session will delve deeper into the student experience, with student panels presenting artistic projects and research processes to help you understand what learning is like as a creative student. Goldsmiths subjects that will be represented are Theatre and Performance, Music, Media, Design, Fine Art and History of Art.

Our Application Sessions will aim to give you insider knowledge into the challenges of portfolio design and interviews, to help you make your portfolio stand out from the crowd.

We have also invited some Goldsmiths alumni to tell you about their journey after graduation exploring the creative world of work.
