This NEW 10 week practical Short Course in Musical Theatre at Goldsmiths, University of London

Please be advised that this course is not running for the Autumn 2017 term. Please check back for further updates.

For students 13 years +

Each week students will learn techniques in acting, singing and dancing by front-line west end practitioners giving students an understanding of international musical theatre techniques, as well as learning musical routines taught in our bespoke dance and movement studio.

Classes may include:

  • Acting techniques
  • Singing and Voice
  • Acting through song
  • Movement
  • Modern and Tap Dance

This course is suitable for those with no prior experience in musical theatre training or those with some training who wish to gain further skills and techniques needed to pursue Musical Theatre further. 

About the Teacher: Aveta Chen

Aveta Chen graduated from the Royal Conservetoire of Scotland with MA in Musical Theatre and her performances include productions of Cats and Avenue Q.

Previously she studied Pop Singing at Sichuan Conservatory of Music, China.
