Yvonne Field

Yvonne Field qualified in youth and community work in 1982. She has provided professional training for youth and community workers and other staff working in the public and third sectors since the early 1990's and originally taught at Goldsmiths between 1996 until 2000. She returned to Goldsmiths in 2014 to teach Organisation and Management on the BA Applied Social Sciences, Community Development and Youth Work programme. Between 1996-2014, Yvonne worked as a trainer, facilitator and organisational development and change management consultant in Children's Services; Youth Services, local health systems and in the Not for Profit sector. She has extensive experience in enterpise development including advising government on SME development. Yvonne has recently established a national social enterprise supproting intergenerational leadership, community enterprise and social change within the African Diaspora. She is currently researching into Ubuntu principles which are being drawn on to develop a model which will be used to support youth and community development in urabn areas.
