Carol Campbell joined Goldsmiths in 2005. She currently supports all of the Social Work Programmes.
Michela is the Programme Administrator for Psychosocial Studies, Counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Understanding Domestic Violence & Sexual Abuse. She provides support to the students on these programmes and assists academic staff involved in the teaching of these subject areas.
Michela has successfully managed the programme administration of the BA Applied Social Science Community and Youth work, MA Dance Movement Psychotherapy and BA Psychosocial Studies, developing effective and sustainable relationships with all students to improve their student experience whilst studying within STaCS. Student's have always praised Michela's extremely approachable and empathetic manner! Michela also provides adminstration support to Academics as well as the Head of Therapeutic Studies. Michela is a keen learner and is always looking at ways to improve the student experience to make it run as smooth as possible, such as updating the VLE module page layouts making them easier on the eye, creating interactive handbooks which are less text heavy and creating screen shot step by step guidances to help student's navigate their way around our online systems.
Michela also has a keen interest in Design and looks after the designing of all departmental promotional material, so please feel free to approach her if you'd like a poster/flyer/booklet designed with Goldsmiths Branding.
Michela currently looks after the following programmes:
Sabrina’s role as the Finance Assistant involves financial administration & support in the Department including staff contracts, budget queries, one-off payments, expense claims, and equipment and catering orders.
Jennifer Mayo’s main duties in the department are admissions queries contact, one off room booking requests, looking after extenuating circumstance forms and queries. Jennifer Is also programme administrator for the PhD students and the Departmental short courses administrator. She is also Secretary to the Learning and Teaching Committee, the Staff Student Forum Committee and the Postgraduate Research Committee Meetings.
Assistant Departmental Business Manager
Ciarán line-manages the Professional Staff team and provides administrative support to the Departmental Business Manager, Ngozi Sagay and the Head of Department, Dr Claudia Bernard.
Ciarán is responsible for collating timetable data and producing timetables for all STaCS programmes. She also acts as secretary for the STaCS Board and facilitates the Alleged Academic Misconduct process within the STaCS Department.
Susan deals with administrative matters in the Department of Social, Therapeutic and Community Studies (STaCS)
Susan looks after administrative matters for these STaCS programmes:
- BA Applied Social Science, Community Development and Youth Work
- MA Applied Anthropology and Community & Youth Work / Community Development / Community Art
- MA Art Psychotherapy
- MA Dance Movement Psychotherapy

Departmental Business Manager
Ngozi Sagay is the Departmental Business Manager and joined the department in August 2020. Ngozi works closely with the co-Heads of Department and oversees the management of all administrative and operational functions within the department.
