Fly On The Wall Mapping

This Project looks at how we relate emotionally to location. How does emotion change relative to community and culture in public spaces? The way we behave and how we are expected to behave differs in relation to where we are. For example, on public transport we are expected to behave and act in a certain way, and we are constantly reminded to do so by the signs around us and announcements we hear. Do these warnings bear a conscious influence on our actions?

Through recording ambient sound and conversations my project aims to answer and challenge these questions, as well as enabling us to look at and map spaces from a new perspective.
