When considering your application to Study Abroad we take into account your GPA (as evidenced on your official transcript), your academic reference, and the reference from your Study Abroad or International Office confirming that you are in good standing at your home university or college. If you are applying for either our Art or Design modules, you should include a portfolio. Non-native English speakers will also need to demonstrate their English Language Proficiency via IELTS results or similar.

Goldsmiths' Centre for English Language & Academic Writing (CELAW) runs the Year Zero modules, as well as a number of English for non-native speakers modules, which you can take before you begin your programme of study. You can contact the Centre on +44 (0)20 7919 7402, or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
In some cases, there are prerequisites for modules, or groups of modules (eg Year 2 Politics modules). These are clearly indicated either underneath the module titles or at the start of each module section. Please make sure that you read and understand all requirements before choosing your modules.
You must meet any prerequisites before you arrive at Goldsmiths, and we make offers of places on the condition that you will meet them. You do not need to have met these requirements before you apply. If you have questions about prerequisities, email email@example.com .
Some subject areas will require you to submit a portfolio of your work as part of your application. Go to gold.ac.uk/ug/apply/advice/portfolios for information on creating and sending a portfolio.
