Work Placement module
Our Work Placement Module is your chance to dive into real-world industry experience, which not only helps you grow your network but also gives you a peek into the professional world. Excitingly, some students have landed job offers right after their placement!
Teaching style
This programme is taught through a mixture of lectures, seminars and workshops. You’ll also be expected to undertake a significant amount of independent study. This includes carrying out required and additional reading, preparing topics for discussion, and producing essays or project work.
How you'll be assessed
You’ll be assessed by a variety of methods, depending on your module choices. These may include coursework, examinations, group work, presentations and projects.

We’ll pay particularly careful attention to your personal statement, which is your opportunity to demonstrate your interest in the subject you’ve applied for. Your referees are also welcome to include any relevant contextual comments around your academic achievements. We’ll look at all these things when making a decision on your application, as well as your qualifications and grades.

If English isn’t your first language, you will need an IELTS score (or equivalent English language qualification) of 6.0 with a 6.0 in writing and no element lower than 5.5 to study this programme. From August 2021 EU/EEA/Swiss nationals will no longer be eligible for 'Home' fee status. EU/EEA/Swiss nationals will be classified as 'International' for fee purposes, more information can be found on our fees page.

BSc Management with Entrepreneurship not only teaches the latest management strategies, but also introduces you to state-of-the-art theories and analytic strategies that you can use to tailor the skills you will develop over the course of the programme to any environment in which you work. So you will gain tools you can use to remain relevant across your career.
The Year 2 My Career Strategy module will help you develop a career plan and prepare for your employment search.
You will be able to take a Work Placement Module in the summer months, which will count towards your optional modules in Year 3. This is run jointly by the Goldsmiths Careers Office and the IMS, both of which have valuable links with employers that may be used for this purpose.
Many of our modules also welcome visiting speakers from industry as well, or through the assessment, giving you lots of opportunities to make your own links with organisations and potential employers.

Skills
With this degree, you will get to the heart of how people make decisions, learn through the experiences of others, and investigate how organisations work at all levels, stages of development, and in relation to the external environment, including economic, environmental, ethical, legal, political, sociological and technological factors.
We will teach you how these factors take effect at local, national and international levels upon the strategy, behaviour, management and sustainability of organisations.
In particular, you will:

- Engage in teamwork and learn how to motivate others
- Work independently and manage your time
- Source, review and reference the literature
- Formulate, carry out, analyse and present research to different audiences, academic and non-academic in nature

Study Abroad
Goldsmiths offers students the opportunity to study abroad at one of its partner universities worldwide. During this term-long exchange, students can earn credits that count towards their degree upon returning to Goldsmiths.
Most undergraduate students partake in this experience during the autumn or spring term of their second year. Funding through the Turing Scheme can support with living costs during the study abroad period.
