What the Exhibitions Hub does
The Exhibitions Hub supports Department of Art students and alumni in realising public facing projects by providing guidance in key areas:
- Developing projects
- Locating galleries and space
- Funding opportunities
- Event promotion and publicity equipment and tool loans
- Advice on insurance and health and safety
Alongside supporting student-initiated projects, the Exhibitions Hub initiates partnerships and curated projects with local galleries and organisations to provide opportunities for our students to build networks and connect with practitioners and audiences beyond Goldsmiths.
The Exhibitions Hub hopes to equip art students with the resources, skills and confidence needed to navigate the art world during their studies and beyond.

LCVA exhibitions hub
Our projects
The Exhibitions Hub has partnered with the London Community Video Archive to commission Department of Art alumni to develop a new work in response to or inspired by the archive.
Following a research and development period with the archive, the artist will develop a new work, event, exhibition, screening or other project that engages public audiences as well as the Goldsmiths community.
This project was launched in January 2020.
