Event overview
Goldsmiths Screen School and Unit for Sound Practice Research, Illustrious and Duran Audio presents works by:
Ain Bailey, Lucia Chung, John Levack Drever, Liam Fletcher, Wojciech Franke/ Leo Merz, Tyler Friedman, Tom Slater, Emmanuel Spinelli and Martyn Ware/Illustrious
The works will be spacialized using Illustrious’ 3D Audioscape Software platform (http://www.3daudioscape.org/) and presented via Duran Audio’s Intellivox DSP controlled Beam Steering Loudspeakers (http://www.duran-audio.com/products/intellivox.html) in the open air at four corners of the College Green.
The project aims to raise awareness of the emerging field of 3D audio and of how modern loudspeaker technologies can deliver a precisely controlled field of coverage required to effectively portray a 3D audio soundscape.
Opening event, Thursday 22 October, 6pm, College Green.

The Large Scale Immersive Audio Experiment will be running daily up to the 7 November at two times - 12.30pm - 2.00pm and 4.30pm - 8.00pm
