This session will build on the skills introduced in Induction week. We will:

* Look at a range of electronic bibliographic databases, which cover a wide range of subjects and which are useful for discovering what has been written on particular topics.
* Show you how to access the databases to which we subscribe from outside of College.
* Demonstrate search techniques - you will be able to carry out a small-scale search on a database covering a subject of interest to you.
* Save the resulting bibliographies, which you will have emailed to yourself for use in the subsequent EndNote Web sessions.
* Examine not only books and journals, but also the use of theses and conference proceedings.
