Event overview
This half-day workshop, hosted by the Centre for English Language and Academic Writing, the Department of Design and the Graduate School, seeks to encourage writing collaborations across Goldsmiths departments.
Our aim is to inspire writers and practitioners to work together to create collaborative articles of up to 5000 words for the forthcoming issue (5.2) of the Journal of Writing in Creative Practice (JWCP).
These papers may be derived from articles published in issue 5.1 of JWCP that participants will be asked to read prior to attending the workshop. The authors of these articles will give short presentations of their work at the start of the event.
Participants will then be encouraged to use the keywords and abstracts to produce co-written questions. The remaining part of the workshop will be used to develop co-writing groups who will 'answer' these questions over the following weeks, with a view to submitting a full article for publication in the journal.
Refreshments will be provided.
