Design Department students Martin Kilner and Tai-Li Lee have designed the awards for this year's Orwell Prize and will be acknowledged at the presentation ceremony.

Martin Kilner (BAED D&T Year 3) and Tai-Li Lee (BA Design, Creativity & Learning Year 1) have worked together on a commission from the Media Standards Trust to design an 'innovative' award for the recipients of this year's prizes. They have made an exceptional design that will be given to the winning authors, journalists and bloggers at the annual presentation ceremony on 23 May (http://www.theorwellprize.co.uk) Martin and Tai-Li have, in their own unique way, contributed to Orwell's ambition of making 'political writing into an art’.
