Research Interests

Twentieth-century and contemporary literature, with a focus on transnational literature and representations of exile, migration and diaspora; translingual writing; translation studies; Jewish identity.

I am also currently co-editing, with Dr Rachel Gilmour (Queen Mary, University of London), a book titled Multilingual Currents: Literature, Language, Politics.  This interdisciplinary project, with contributors from around the world, explores contemporary relationships between translation, politics, language and literary form.
