Alan joined the design department in October 2004. From April 2002 Alan worked as an education consultant specialising in ICT across the curriculum. Before this he was a Head of Faculty in a large South London Comprehensive. He has worked at several City Learning Centres in South London and now also works on the ICT PGCE and GTP/OTT programmes at the IOE.
His research interests include: the use of digital images in the classroom and to support assessment, effective e-learning and the role of mentors in ITT.
