What is the conference about?
This conference will enable you to learn more about how Psychology relates to issues in the real world, and also allow you to engage with interesting and exciting talks from leading specialists in the field of Psychology. In the morning you will hear about four different careers in Psychology (Clinical, Forensic, Educational and Occupational Psychology), which will be presented by Psychology practitioners and experts in their fields. You will also get the chance to pick up some tips from a University admissions tutor on how to write a successful UCAS personal statement. In the afternoon, there will be interactive and engaging talks on areas of research presented by leaders in their field.
Who is it for?
Students studying Psychology A-level and anyone with an interest in Psychology more generally.
When and where?
Wednesday the 21th September 2016 at Goldsmiths, University of London, New Cross, London (click here for map and directions).
How much does it cost?
£17 per ticket. This includes lunch, tea and coffee. For every 10 tickets there is one free teacher admission.
How to apply?
Please contact us on psychologyconference (@gold.ac.uk) stating your school and the number of tickets you require. You will then receive further information. Please note that tickets can only be purchased through school teachers, and not by individual students. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Application deadline is 8 of September 2016.
