Me & My Whale is both symphony and theatre created by sound wizard and soon to be Sonic Arts Master Xavier Velastin about one submarine captain and her penchant for the cetacean ...

My unofficial degree show for my final work in Sonic Arts (i.e. music), Me & My Whale is a forty five minute sound play in three movements surrounding the journey of a solitary submarine captain and her burning love for a solitary whale.

It's huge in scope and includes:

Xavier Velastin (FB: "XVelastin") is a composer, pianist, computer musician, accidental poet or performance artist, depending on when/where you happen to find him. He's finishing a far too short one-year masters in Sonic Arts at Goldsmiths and is very keen on working with the voice as expression and medium, facilitating collaboration as a political process and using artistic practice to support pro-equality, pro-earth, anti-border principles.
