What are false memories? What are the implications of developing a false memory? Is it ethical to implant false memories to help people live a better life?

Do you have a ‘memory’ of something that actually didn’t happen? Something impossible, that you couldn’t have experienced, yet feels like a real memory?! Ever wondered why?!
The Forensic Psychology Unit at Goldsmiths University brings together four world-leading experts, including Distinguished Professor Elizabeth Loftus, to discuss the fascinating phenomenon of false memories; What are they? What are the implications of developing a false memory? Is it ethical to implant false memories to help people live a better life?
Join Elizabeth Loftus, Chris French, Rob Nash, and Kim Wade as they address these questions and many more, as well as taking questions from the audience.
