Event overview
The collaborative artists group [NAME] explored and performed in the Women's Art Library collection to create this installation in the cabinets of the Kingsway Corridor.
Women's Art Library presents the work of artists-in-residence art collaborative [NAME].
Using notions of instruction and improvisation [NAME] explore the nature of the archive merging references to theory, literature and the work of artists found in the Women's Art Library including Joan Jonas, Anne Krinsky and the Guerrilla Girls.
[NAME] is a group of four women artists using film, gesture, drawing and a range of technology to recreate the archive outside of the boundaries of time.
The installation includes a space collecting written sounds from visitors.
