Event overview
The Women's Art Library presents the artists group [NAME] with an afternoon of screenings to meet the artists and celebrate their installation in the Kingsway Corridor.
This event showcases films made by [NAME], (Charlie Betts, Sue Glasgow, Lucy Lauener, Erika Winstone) who worked as artists in residence in the Women's Art Library earlier this year. Using notions of instruction and improvisation [NAME] explore the nature of the archive merging references to theory, literature and the work of artists found in the Women's Art Library including Joan Jonas, Anne Krinsky and the Guerrilla Girls. [NAME] is a group of four women artists using film, gesture, drawing and a range of technology to recreate the archive outside of the boundaries of time.
