Hannah C Jones (aka Foxy Moron) will discuss her practice as an artist, musician, scholar and how she navigates the art, classical music, electronic music and academic spheres.

Jones' practice is extremely broad; she is the founder, director and conductor of Peckham Chamber Orchestra; an artist exhibiting internationally most recently with her body of work the Oweds which tackle race-relations, decolonisation and the trans-generational traumas of slavery; and an NTS DJ with her monthly Opera Show. Jones' practice is centred around decolonisation and inclusivity. She has recently commenced an AHRC scholarship at Oxford University (Christ Church College) reading DPhil Art (The Ruskin) and exploring the relationship between Afrofuturism and Gesamtkunstwerk through the art-music of Sun Ra and Wagner.
