Alissa Firsova (piano) and Parisian cellist Anatole Libermann, perform works by Shostakovich, Bach, Grieg and Smirnov.

Bach/Fournier: Chorale No. 1 "Come now, Saviour of the heathen" [BWV 659]
Grieg: Sonata Op. 36 for cello and piano
Smirnov: Tiriel Op. 41c (after William Blake)
Shostakovich: Sonata Op. 40

The Department is pleased to welcome back the British-Russian pianist, composer and conductor Alissa Firsova, and the distinguished cellist Anatole Liebermann back to Deptford Town Hall to give this free evening concert, prior to their performance in Cambridge on the Thursday.

Free event, all welcome.
The venue is on New Cross Road, (nearly) opposite New Cross Gate train station, London SE14 6AF
