Event overview
Launch event for Walking for Wellbeing, a series of workshops and walks for students throughout the summer term.
Walking for Wellbeing is a series of workshop sessions and walks during the summer term to help Goldsmiths students improve their physical and mental wellbeing. Exercising the mind and body while learning about and exploring London and its fascinating history!
Walking for Wellbeing consists of a series of informal workshop sessions during which students, working with historians, can use books and maps to explore their interests in historical and modern-day London.
From this research, a series of leisurely walks in and around London will be created and undertaken. These will provide opportunities for moderate physical exercise as well as mental contemplation and relaxation.
Staff and students can learn more about this initiative, find out the dates of sessions, and enjoy light refreshments at this launch event.
Walking for Wellbeing is supported by the Goldsmiths Annual Fund.
