As part of the Between the Lands, Alexander Ivashkin Remembered conference, we present this lunchtime recital of solo piano works by Andrew Zolinsky.

Sergei Prokofiev: Sonata op. 82, no. 6
Tigran Mansurian: Nostalghia (1976)
Alexander Knaifel: Postludia UK premiere (1992)
Sergei Rachmaninov: Prelude op. 32, no. 12 ; Étude-Tableaux op. 39, no. 3
Valentin Silvestrov: Sonata no. 3 (1979)

Pianist Andrew Zolinsky is one of the most distinctive musical voices of his generation. His unique style of programming and his individual interpretations have secured performances at many prestigious venues and festivals. His work with living composers brings a vivid freshness, energy and passion to his interpretations of music from previous eras. Andrew is Professor of piano at the Royal College of Music and at Goldsmiths, University of London.
