This exhibition gathers together a selection of artwork produced by Open Book students and staff at Goldsmiths College.
This exhibition celebrates the artistic achievements of Open Book students and staff in painting, drawing, writing and photography. As individuals in the group they decided to remain anonymous and to leave their work untitled.
The tutor, Carolyn Taylor, creates a relaxed creative space, encouraging her students to move out of their ‘comfort zone’ and experiment with a wide range of art tools, materials and techniques. Recently students have been developing their painting skills, using oils, acrylics and water-based paints, to explore tone, colour, line, mass and texture.
There is a fabulous sense of community at Open Book and the art class is a relaxed and welcoming space in which students can explore their creativity.
