It’s a tradition at Goldsmiths that all students in the Department begin the year with a week of intensive performance based activities that culminate in public concerts.

This afternoon and evening mini-festival features students on the BMus Music, BMus Popular Music and BMus/BSc Music Computing programmes.

Students on the BMus Music will be performing music by CPE Bach, Bedrich Smetana, Aaron Copland, Gustav Mahler, Jon Leifs and John White.

The concert will also include Sonic Shorts: electroacoustic compositions by Music Computing students.

Students on the BMus Popular Music programme will have their performance of new devised works following the Sinfonia, Chorus, Jazz Band and Keyboard Collective event from 7pm. 1st and 2nd year students will perform on the front entrance steps outside the main building on our bespoke festival stage, whilst 3rd year performances involve installations and multimedia works created in our state-of-the-art recording studio, with live events at 310 NXRD during the week.
