'Urban Photography: Making, Researching, Teaching' is a symposium of contemporary approaches and debates within the visual and pedagogical practice of urban photography.
What insights and understanding about contemporary urban space can be gained through the practice of and research into urban photography? This day of discussion features artists, urbanists and academics across two panels exploring 'Teaching Photography' and 'The City as Playground.' Featuring Peter Bennett (University of West London), Gill Golding (Goldsmiths, University of London), Paul Halliday (Goldsmiths, University of London), David Kendall (Goldsmiths, University of London), Linda Lai (City University of Hong Kong) and Theresa Mikuriya (University of West London).
'Urban Photography: Making, Researching, Teaching' is organised in partnership with The Photographers' Gallery, Goldsmiths, University of London, University of West London and the Urban Photographers' Association and is part of UrbanPhotoFest 2017.
