Every month, we run a beginner-friendly workshop on a range of technical topics which aim to inspire you to build awesome projects. Each one is completely free and open to everyone, with no skill required at all - just bring your laptop.
>> Thu 12 October 2017 - Introduction to Web Design. Never written a line of code before and want to learn how to build a website? We'll show you the tips and techniques to build your own portfolio website or blog.
>> Thu 16 November 2017 - Better Teamwork with Git. Git provides a whole host of powerful team workflows. It’s useful for any kind of digital files you have - so come and learn the basics!
>> Fri 8 December 2017 - Generative Storytelling & Bots. Learn about the semantics of language through building your own generative stories, and publish them through a Twitter bot.
Hacksmiths is the student-run tech society at Goldsmiths. Our mission is to provide an opportunity for people in all departments and from all backgrounds the chance to learn about, and play with, technology.
