To coincide with International Women’s Day, Pippa Davismoon and Charlotte Morrison focus on fundamental issues associated with the female body – and how we view it.

This exhibition is hosted by the Women's Art Library to celebrate Women's History Month in tandem with Claire Collison's exhibition Watch This Space.

Morrison's work explores hormonal cycles, reconstructive and cosmetic surgery. She creates dynamic small collections in kiln formed glass and porcelain. When assembled they reconstruct images of the person.

Davismoon takes a playful approach to her work and invites the audience to participate through either a personal or group dialogue with the words and objects created. She is interested in how objects can enhance communication with both ourselves and others and possibly offer a sense of wellbeing to the beholder. The audience is invited to come and participate.
This ongoing project focuses on interactions and emotions – health and wellbeing. It began as an interactive art residency in Cambridge – and continues in the form of exhibitions and events.
