The digital age presents many opportunities as well as challenges to artists, managers and labels and navigating this increasingly complex industry can be daunting. Business Lunch is an open workshop about engaging with the music industry; whether you’re planning an independent release, putting on an event, looking for funding, building your audience or have no idea where to start, bring your projects and questions to your peers and music industry professional, Ruth Woodward. Open to all genres and styles of music and all levels of music industry knowledge; this is a chance to workshop your ideas and discuss how to take your next step, whatever that may be!
The workshop will be run by Ruth Woodward, Goldsmiths BMus and MMus alum and former label manager of NX Records. Ruth now works freelance as a project manager and digital marketing consultant with clients including the BBC, Sound Connections and independent musicians and record labels.
