Bikes & Bloomers: Cycling, Sewing, & Suffrage Storytelling.

Join Sociologist Dr Kat Jungnickel as she tells the story of Victorian women inventors and their extraordinary cycle wear at Field Day 2018.

Festival goers will have the chance to dress up in convertible cycle wear invented in the 1890s, pose for a Victorian bike portrait and sew their own tie on pocket.

Also, a travelling exhibition from the Women’s Art Library will feature radical music posters from the 1970s, 80s and 90s, with a limited number to give away.

Find us in the Village Mentality area.
