From his reports on the massacre at My Lai, to his exposure of the horrors of Abu Ghraib, to his more recent attempts to get to the bottom of the circumstances of Osama Bin Laden’s death and the conflict in Syria, Seymour Hersh has over five decades made a reputation as one of the world’s most acclaimed investigative journalists. He comes to London to talk about his life and work, the threats to investigative journalism and the future of the profession.

Seymour Hersh, a long-time staff writer at The New Yorker, is the author of the new book Reporter: A Memoir. He will be in conversation with Centre for Investigative Journalism Director James Harkin.

The CIJ is an independent charity committed to the education and training of journalists, editors and researchers towards critical in-depth reporting and defence of the public interest and is housed at Goldsmiths.
